Physical Layout Designer (CADD)
This is an onsite role where you’ll contribute to essential infrastructure projects in a supportive and collaborative environment. Preferred candidates will have strong skills and experience with AutoCAD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update designs for steel structures, concrete foundations, civil site & grading plans.
- Work on physical/spatial layouts, including 3D modeling.
- Collaborate with engineers to deliver accurate and timely drawings for utility and industrial projects.
- Use AutoCAD to develop detailed designs and documentation.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of drafting experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and BlueBeam Revu is required; experience with Civil 3D and 3D modeling is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
- A degree or certification in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) is preferred.
- Willingness to work overtime and/or occasional early mornings, late evenings, or weekends as needed.
Industrial Project Supervisor / Project Manager
State-licensed Journeyman with strong supervisory skills and experience in medium to high voltage industrial applications with an emphasis in substation work will be the preferred candidate(s).
- Strong knowledge of:
- Substation Terminology
- Substation Construction practices
- Recognizing electrical hazards and having the knowledge/skills to mitigate risks.
- Experience coordinating and managing multiple subcontractors on a job site.
- Solid understanding of blueprints and contractual terms.
- Proven track record of keeping projects on schedule and on budget.
- Must build good customer and subcontractor relationships.
Industrial Electrician
State-licensed Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians with industrial (specifically substations), renewable energy, and/or oil and gas experience will be the preferred candidate(s). Eligible applicant(s) must be able to work safely in a construction environment and maintain customer satisfaction while performing the duties of this position. This person(s) must have a history of producing quality work with attention to detail to meet customers’ expectations.
Principal Duties:
- Install terminations on underground medium and high voltage cables.
- Safely install HV potential grounding systems.
- Install ground grid, cad weld/thermowell shots, bonding structures and equipment, use of hydraulic compression tool as needed.
- Understand installation of static shield and all grounding materials.
- Install underground & above ground raceways ranging up to 8″ PVC and rigid. Level and squared.
- Install small equipment, boxes, supports, lighting, receptacles for substations.
- Assist groups with installation of cable trenches for raceways and layout.
- Assist fabrication groups with tubing buss, understand materials, connection points and hardware.
- Fit and install cable buss to equipment and tubing buss, understand materials, connection points and hardware.
- Install and pre-calibrate substation switches for client inspections.
- Fit and install overhead conductors within the substation.
- Skilled personnel for terminating & labeling conductors throughout substation. Control & Power circuits.
- Use bucket trucks, man lifts and able to work on elevated tasks.
- Use line/boom truck to set small structures and equipment.
- Work and assist the crane contractor on critical lifts for major equipment and structures.
- Operate HV testing equipment such as Hi-Pot and VLF testing.
Power Delivery Engineer
Eligible applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and preferably a minimum of 5 years’ consulting experience with power engineering—specifically substations. Designs are customized to client needs. This work can be performed at one of our four branches.

General Contractor / Operator
Eligible applicant(s) must be able to work safely in a construction environment and maintain customer satisfaction while performing the duties of this position. This person(s) must have a history of producing quality work with attention to detail to meet customers’ expectations.
Principal Duties:
- Maneuver and operate the skid-steer and mini-ex, and other heavy equipment safely to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials.
- Load and offload rock, debris, and other materials from heavy equipment.
- Perform daily fluid level checks on oil, water, and fuel; visual inspection for obvious leaks and damage to machine before operation of equipment as well as safety equipment checks.
- Perform daily maintenance of equipment to remain in proper and safe working order. Responsible for notifying Foreman if equipment needs to be repaired.
- Comprehend reading and drawing prints.
- Use all power tools, saws.
- Dig trenches, either by use of hand tools or power equipment.
- Operate small equipment such as trenchers, jackhammers, etc. in safe manner.
- Practice and comprehend safe work procedures per Company policy.
