  • Lead Electrical Engineer

    Eligible applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and preferably a minimum of 5 years’ consulting experience with power engineering—specifically substations.  Designs are customized to client needs.  This work can be performed at one of our four branches.  Salary (non-exempt)- $120-180,000/year fully burdened.  Compensation package based upon experience and credentials.

  • Electrical CADD Technician

    Eligible applicant(s) must have an associates degree or certification in computer aided design. Preferred candidates will have strong skills and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Electrical to create drawings for substation projects.  Hourly rate: $37.32- $48.02 fully burdened.  Compensation package based upon experience and credentials.

    Principal Duties:

    • Creating and revising drawings and documentation for EPC utility, industrial, and renewable substation projects from scope of work documents, protection specifications, engineering sketches and/or verbal instructions.
    • Assisting in developing, checking, and submitting drawings for subcontractors involved in substation projects.
    • Coordinate with project engineers to gather and record data for substation design projects and complete as-built and record print revisions from marked drawings.
    • Must be able to assist on multiple projects simultaneously and be able to work effectively under pressure of deadlines, unexpected developments, changes in project scope, budget constraints, unforeseen field problems, and demands on time for work assignments.
    • Creating or revising electrical one-lines, AC and DC schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, conduit and raceway layouts, cable schedules, and ground grids.
    • Must have strong interpersonal skills and develop and maintain relationships with Project Engineers and Engineering Manager that facilitate cooperation needed to complete assigned tasks.
    • Working knowledge of applicable computer software necessary to fulfill duties and complete tasks; including but not limited to AutoCAD, BlueBeam Revu, and Microsoft Office’s suite of software.
